Overview
Provide technical guidance to beneficiaries on procedures for obtaining favorable opinions from the Ministry of Environment, and support the Ministry of Environment in field tours, technical inspections, and preparation of documentation for land adjudication processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Orient beneficiaries on Ministry of Environment requirements for favorable opinions.
- Support beneficiaries in completing the Land Use and Management Plan.
- Assist in obtaining signatures for Ministry of Environment documents.
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Environment norms and procedures.
- Coordinate with Ministry of Environment technical staff for validation of adjacent properties and environmental norm compliance.
- Support the Ministry of Environment in preparing inspection minutes, resolutions, and reports.
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure quality control of files.
- Maintain an updated registry of files with favorable opinions and payment records.
- Support notification and dissemination of cadastral and titling activities.
- Assist beneficiaries in completing the form to evidence the social function of their land.
- Coordinate with technical teams, Rural Aqueduct Administration Boards, and the community for water source verification.
- Participate in public exhibitions and title delivery activities.
- Safeguard assigned vehicles, surveying, communication, and computing equipment.
- Participate in training on internal procedures and support the organization of capacity development activities.
- Contribute to knowledge networks and communities of practice.
- Maintain organized records of project data, field activities, case studies, and other relevant documents.
Required Experience
• Minimum five (5) years of proven experience (with complete secondary education) or two (2) years of experience (with a complete Bachelor's or Engineering degree) in executing technical activities related to environmental management, natural resource conservation, and/or sustainable land management.
Qualifications
- Complete secondary education is required.
- University studies (complete Bachelor's or Engineering degree) in Environment, Natural Resources, Forestry, Biology, Agronomy, or related areas are highly valued, but not a requirement.
