Overview
The ICT Analyst manages ICT services, develops and implements ICT management systems, and provides information management tools and technology infrastructure in the Country Office. The role is responsible for reviewing and advising on new technologies to enhance productivity and heads the ICT Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure implementation of ICT strategies and introduction of new technologies.
- Manage CO hardware and software packages.
- Manage engagement with CO Operations and Programme teams to ensure their automation and digitalization needs are met.
- Ensure efficient network administration.
- Ensure facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing in the CO.
Required Experience
- Applicant with Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field of study are not required to have professional work experience.
- Applicant with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience at national or international level includes development and implementation of ICT strategies; web design and development of web-based office applications; providing technical support for Cloud ERP environments; 2 years of experience in management and supervision of ICT services and teams; working with hardware and software platforms, and telecommunications facilities; and applying advanced knowledge of database applications, web-based and cloud infrastructure management systems.
- Experience working with user-centered designs and conducting user research and testing.
Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Science, Software Development or related field is required.
- A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the above field in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.
