Web and Social Media Editor (French) (Home-Based) [Open to All Applicants]

Overview

Manage UNDP’s corporate web site and social media presence in French, creating compelling public-facing content and leading on social networks and digital engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage UNDP’s global social media channels (Twitter and Facebook) in French.
• Create, edit and produce content in French for the global public web site and other digital platforms.
• Conduct maintenance and quality assurance of the corporate website.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing.

Required Experience

Applicants with a master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field of study are not required to have professional work experience. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree are required to have minimum of 2 years of work experience in digital communications, media, marketing, journalism or another relevant field.

Qualifications

Advance university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Communications, Journalism, Social Science or related field is required. Or a first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas mentioned above in combination with an additional 2 (two) years of qualifying experience.
