Overview

The intern will support the Centre’s communications and social media work, including content production and strategy implementation. The role also involves assisting with event organization and external relations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting implementation of the Centre’s Communications Strategy and Action Plan.
  • Supporting production of web and social media content.
  • Supporting production of digital/multimedia materials, including video content.
  • Supporting production of various advocacy materials.
  • Drafting, copyediting and translating various web and social media content.
  • Conducting technical reviews of USPC’s website and social media channels.
  • Supporting the Centre’s knowledge management around communications work.
  • Supporting the organization of UNDP meetings and events.
  • Supporting media outreach and public information campaigns.
  • Supporting the Centre’s various reporting and M&E work.
  • Taking records of events, meetings, activities, and visits to USPC office.
  • Supporting onsite promotion in outreach activities.
  • Supporting incoming missions from UNDP HQs, Country Offices and partners.
  • Maintaining relevant files and databases.
  • Performing liaison support and administrative tasks.
  • Supporting other/ad hoc activities.
Qualifications
  • Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme (such as a master’s programme, or higher);
  • Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent);
  • Have recently graduated with a university degree and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation;
  • Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program and undertake the internship as part of this program. Field of study: communications, digital media, journalism, public relations, international relations, international development, political science, or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office productivity tools.

Remuneration
• monthly stipend in accordance with the provisions of the UNDP internship policy (as reference, the stipend for 2026 is set at KRW 1,169,728 per month)
