Overview
The role ensures the energy monitoring system delivers reliable, actionable, and scalable insights by bringing energy expertise into its design and implementing energy sensors and systems in pilot missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Propose and document the conceptual architecture of energy installations and smart sensors.
- Propose energy KPIs and insights.
- Document guidelines and protocols for the installation, configuration, registration and maintenance of energy sensors and systems.
- Install, configure and register energy sensors and systems on-site and in IT platforms.
- Assess the accuracy and usability of energy data collected through the monitoring platform.
- Collect feedback and lessons learned from field and HQ end-users.
- Train end-users from the pilot missions on how to maintain and leverage insights from the monitoring system.
Required Experience
- Experience installing energy systems and sensors
- Experience working in humanitarian operations
- Experience working in MSF field
Qualifications
- Tertiary education or equivalent professional training in electrical engineering, energy systems, renewable energy, or a related technical field.
- Educational background in energy monitoring, instrumentation, or connected systems applied to energy installations.
