Overview
Provide coordination support to UNEP’s Sustainable Investments Unit, contributing to programme coordination, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of project activities for initiatives like 3DEN and EPIC Deploy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide project coordination support for the 3DEN Project, including partner due diligence, donor engagement, communications, event management, outreach, budget tracking, and financial reporting.
- Provide project coordination support for the EPIC Deploy Project, including partner due diligence, coordination with the Cool Coalition team, pilot site identification, baseline data collection, communications, event management, outreach, and report preparation.
- Support daily activities of the Unit, including development of new project concepts, proposal drafting, fundraising, strategic donor mapping and engagement, and data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Required Experience
Prior experience working in project management and coordination support for climate finance mitigation related activities would be considered an asset. Prior experience working with UN agencies with a focus on climate change and finance are desirable.
Qualifications
Master’s degree (M.A. or equivalent) in Environmental Policy, Economics, Political Science, Development, or a related field.
