Overview
The role involves providing technical and strategic support for promoting the adoption of low- or zero-GWP refrigerants and maintaining or improving energy efficiency in the RAC servicing sector in Peru.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and optimize the energy efficiency curriculum for the RAC sector in Peru.
- Develop, validate, and disseminate two complementary guidelines for RAC technicians and end-users.
- Design and implement at least three (3) training workshops for trainers and technical instructors.
- Provide technical assistance on energy efficiency to end-users through energy diagnostics.
- Design and implement at least three (3) training workshops for importers, wholesalers, and distributors.
- Provide technical and organizational support for the planning, development, and systematization of the National Seminar.
- Develop and disseminate printed and/or digital materials to promote energy-efficient RAC equipment.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the HVAC-R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning,and Refrigeration) sector, including technical service, project development, or capacitybuilding.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering training workshops and implementing communication campaigns and designing related materials, preferably in technical fields such as refrigeration, air conditioning, energy-efficient systems, or related field.
- Experience coordinating or implementing training programs aimed at enforcement or technical personnel.
Qualifications
- An advanced university degree (master’s or equivalent) in Engineering (preferably Electromechanical, Mechanical, or related fields in technical fields or environmental studies).
- A first-level university degree, combined with two (2) additional years of qualifying experience, may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.
