Overview
Assist in programme management activities, including drafting documents, supporting meetings, and conducting research on ICT trends and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and preparing official documents.
- Attend and summarize conferences and meetings, including Expert Group meetings and workshops.
- Support organization of meetings and conferences.
- Assist in data collection of ICT trends and policies.
- Conduct research and provide analysis on relevant issues.
- Assist in drafting and preparing background documents, reports, issue briefs, talking points, articles, presentations etc.
- Monitor regional and global news sources for articles and stories relevant to ICT for development.
- Support implementation of projects.
- Assist in maintaining databases.
- Perform additional duties as may be required.
Required Experience
Applicants are not required to have professional work experience for participation in the programme. No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
