Overview
Provide English to Arabic translation of webinar materials and live simultaneous interpretation for virtual sessions on entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
Key Responsibilities
- - Support approximately 6–8 virtual webinars.
- - Provide real-time simultaneous interpretation from English to Arabic.
- - Log in to webinars in advance for virtual setup.
- - Review webinar presentations and translate approximately 15–20 slides per webinar from English to Arabic.
- - Ensure translated materials are accurate and in line with UNITAR communication guidelines.
- - May be asked to participate in a virtual orientation meeting.
Required Experience
- - Proven experience in simultaneous interpretation.
- - Previous translation experience is considered an asset.
- - Familiarity with technical terms related to entrepreneurship, food security, innovation and financial literacy will be considered an advantage.
