The role contributes to the development of regional process guidance, briefings, and tools for programme planning, monitoring, and evaluation, with a focus on health programming.
A minimum of two years of work experience in public health programme management including strategic and operational planning, technical monitoring and evaluation using quantitative and qualitative methods, organizational performance assessment, and corporate reporting using Results-based management. Experience of WHO technical programmes, processes and policies. Working with government counterparts.
First university degree in medicine, public health or related health field accompanied by an accredited academic course, training and/or certification in results-based management. An advanced university degree (master's degree) in medicine, public health or related health field. An accredited academic course, training and/or certification in programme planning and monitoring and evaluation would be an asset.
