Overview

Support and provide guidance to the Country Office and the Ministry of Health for the preparation, implementation and dissemination of the MICS7 survey in the country.


Key Responsibilities

• Support and provide guidance to the Country Office and the Ministry of Health for the preparation, implementation and dissemination of the MICS7 survey in the country.

Required Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in coordinating and/or managing quantitative household surveys; Strong computer skills and solid expertise in statistical analysis; Required experience in organizing and facilitating training sessions; Required experience in data analysis and survey report writing; Desirable experience in data collection using the CAPI system; Previous knowledge of and work experience in the country and/or the region is strongly desirable; Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and establish harmonious and effective relationships both within and outside the organization, particularly with national institutions; Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and supervise a team; Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the country and attend regional workshops abroad.

Qualifications

University degree (preferably at Master’s level) required in demography, statistics, social sciences, epidemiology and/or any other related technical field.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in Arabic and French are required.
Languages Preferred
strong ability to communicate and understand English, both written and spoken, is highly desirable.
