Overview
Consultancy to review, update, and harmonize national policies, guidelines, and training curricula pertaining to PPH and EmONC protocols to incorporate the E-MOTIVE approach in South Sudan.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit an inception report including methodology, workplan, and timeline.
- Develop appropriate tools and instruments.
- Conduct desk review.
- Engage with SBC Consortium, SBC TAG, and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate consultative meetings/workshops.
- Update protocols incorporating E-MOTIVE approach and other identified documents.
- Update clinical guidelines, SOPs, and job aids.
- Develop a costed dissemination and implementation plan.
- Prepare and present a draft report for feedback.
- Revise and submit a final report.
- Facilitate a national validation workshop.
Required Experience
- Years’ experience working in health and development in general.
- Conducting research and surveys in Health, SRH, and/or family planning is preferred.
- Skills in policy, advocacy, communication, and interaction with governmental and nongovernmental partners in health.
- Proven experience in developing or revising clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Strong knowledge of PPH management and EmONC.
Qualifications
Graduate level degree (MA, MPH) in International Health and Development or related program (coursework in Family Planning / Reproductive Health / Population Studies / Policy Analysis is preferred).
