Overview

Commission a Gender Programmatic Review to assess the current positioning, integration, and effectiveness of gender across UNICEF Morocco's programme portfolio and partnerships.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse how gender equality is articulated within the Country Programme Document (CPD) results framework and mid-term review findings.
  • Identify areas of progress and areas requiring strengthening.
  • Generate strategic and evidence-based options to reinforce UNICEF's comparative advantage in strengthening gender equality.
  • Map gaps, opportunities, and stakeholder roles across sectors.
  • Identify avenues for leadership, collaboration, and leverage.
  • Articulate gender priorities for the office, including opportunities for gender mainstreaming and flagship sectoral gender initiatives.
  • Inform the UNICEF Morocco Gender Action Plan 2026-2027 and serve as a building block for the next Country Programme Document.
Required Experience

At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in gender equality and strategic advisory roles, including demonstrated experience providing high-level guidance to inform programme design, policy development, and organizational decision-making.

Qualifications

Masters degree in gender studies, social sciences, international development or any other relevant field.

Fluency in English and working proficiency in French required.
Languages Preferred
In-country experience. Some prior experience with UNICEF or UN agency programme planning.
