Overview
Provide technical assistance to the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) in strengthening education data analysis, reporting, evidence generation, institutional capacity, and data-driven decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support DPE in drafting situation analysis/study on education data, support drafting data policy and data management guideline.
- Analysing the IPEMIS data for all relevant indicators by relevant disaggregation including sex, gender, region, district and upazila.
- Producing high quality ASPR 2025, 2026 and APSS 2026, 2027
- Strengthen the institutional capacity of relevant DPE divisions through systematic capacity building, on-the-job mentoring, and gradual transfer of knowledge and technical skills on data collection, analysis, reporting, and evidence generation.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in education data analysis, research, monitoring and evaluation, statistical analysis, reporting, and evidence generation.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing large-scale studies, surveys, assessments, or sector reviews, including data collection, management, validation, analysis, and interpretation.
- Proven experience in analysing education or social sector data from multiple sources and producing high-quality analytical reports, research studies, policy briefs, and knowledge products to inform decision-making.
- Experience working with government institutions and multiple stakeholders, with demonstrated ability to facilitate technical coordination, consultation, and consensus-building processes.
