Overview

The WASH Officer provides technical, operational, and administrative assistance for the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of WASH programming. The role involves working with implementing partners and focuses on partnerships, programme management, and humanitarian response.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage and implement technical and administrative tasks related to WASH programming.
• Work on partnerships with implementing partners for the implementation of the WASH programme.
• Programme development and planning.
• Programme management, monitoring and delivery of results.
• Technical and operational support for programme implementation.
• Humanitarian WASH preparedness and response.
• Networking and partnership building.
• Innovation, knowledge management and capacity building.

Required Experience

At least 2 years of relevant work experience in WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), Water & Environmental Sanitation, Humanitarian Assistance, Public Health, Humanitarian Response, Emergency Preparedness, Programme Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Partnership Management, Capacity Building, Policy Advocacy, Resource Mobilization. and any other related fields.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree in Public Health, Social Science, Behavioral Science, Engineering-Civil, Sanitary Engineering, Environmental Engineering and any other related fields.
