Overview

Provide support to the Communications team in preparing content, updating the website, developing digital content for social media, and assisting with media engagement.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing content for publication, including formatting and quality checks.
  • Update and maintain FATF website.
  • Participate in the development and design of engaging digital content for social media campaigns.
  • Support high-profile publication launches, webinars, events and media briefings.
  • Assist with media engagement by managing a media directory and handling the processing of media enquiries.
  • Provide input into impact monitoring and analysis for FATF web and social media accounts.
  • Support the FATF Communications team in developing online communications guidelines for FATF staff.
  • Support strategic communications planning by ensuring FATF communications activities and events are included in the central Secretariat calendar.
  • Provide administrative support to Communications team, such as procurement of new tools and software.
  • Provide back-up support to FATF IT team regarding delegate and staff access to secure online platforms, as well as during Zoom events or webcasts.
Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience as a communications assistant or similar communications role, preferably in an international organisation and including relations with internal and external stakeholders. Must be able to demonstrate workplace-acquired proficiency in developing engaging and impactful digital content, monitoring and measuring communications impact, using web content management systems and social media platforms, and formatting Word documents and managing the document lifecycle (including archiving). Good knowledge of the administrative rules and procedures of the OECD or that of another international organisation, as well as familiarity with the procedures to be followed for IT and accounts management, or proven ability to learn and assimilate new rules and procedures quickly.

Qualifications

University degree or equivalent, ideally in a related field such as journalism or communications.

Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and knowledge of the other, with a commitment to reach a good working level.

24 month fixed-term appointment, with the possibility of renewal to a maximum of 36 months.

Remuneration
Monthly salary starts at 3 878 EUR, plus allowances based on eligibility, exempt of French income tax.
