This Terms of Reference is for Roster Recruitment purposes for a Project Manager at the NPSA-9 level. Selected candidates will be placed in a talent pool and may be deployed to any UNDP Bangladesh project or programme.
Minimum of 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with Bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience in project/programme management in the development sector is required. Proven experience of working in one or more of the following areas: governance, social protection, climate change, disaster risk management, poverty reduction, sustainable energy, health, or crisis recovery is required. Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating project activities, budgets and work plans to deliver measurable, time‑bound results is required. Demonstrated experience leading, supervising and developing project personnel or teams is required. Experience in strong monitoring and results‑based reporting for donor and government audiences. Proven track record of strong written, analytical and communication skills, including reports, briefs and work plans. Experience establishing and maintaining working relationships with government counterparts and delivery partners private sector and civil society including influencing policy or building institutional capacity at national or local level.
Advanced University Degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Public Administration, Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, Governance, Environment, Engineering or any other relevant discipline is required; OR A first-level university degree (Bachelor's degree) in the above fields in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.
