Provide technical leadership and oversight for the design, development, operationalization, and sustainability of Mongolia’s national climate transparency information management system.
Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, software development, and business analysis. Experience in the UN system is an asset. Experience with the design, development and management of databases, data management systems and web-based information platforms. Knowledge of system architecture, data interoperability and integration of information systems. Familiarity with greenhouse gas inventories, reporting under the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF), and climate related management system is an asset. Experience in data governance, data quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), metadata management, user access management and data security principles. Demonstrated ability to process complex data and analyse information. Teamwork and strong soft skills including interpersonal, ethical, listening and communication skills, proactive, problem solving, self-organizing, planning, setting priorities and efficient use of time.
Advanced university degree from an IAU/UNESCO-recognized institution in a relevant field such as data management, business analysis, software management, information system and information technology. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree must have two (2) additional years of relevant professional experience.
