Mobility VN: Programme Coordinator (Durable Solutions) (P)

Overview

Support the implementation of durable solutions operations and inclusive community programming in Iraq.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop methodologies and tools for IDP return, relocation, and reintegration.
• Monitor and analyze findings related to durable solutions interventions.
• Coordinate the technical management of Community Resources Centers.
• Enhance community-based approaches for sustainable programming.
• Engage with national and sub-national coordination structures.
• Establish collaboration modalities with stakeholders.
• Contribute to resource mobilization through programmatic reporting and proposal development.
• Supervise technical staff related to durable solutions.
• Ensure integration of cross-cutting issues like protection, gender, and conflict-sensitivity.

Required Experience

Minimum five years of relevant international experience in Management, Community Engagement, Stabilization, Peacebuilding, Return, Recovery and Reintegration; Experience at the international level with specialized international organizations (UN agencies, international organizations, and specialized international NGOs), preferably in early recovery and stabilization, assistance to IDPs and refugees, and humanitarian assistance in the Middle East and/or North Africa; Experience working directly with displaced populations, particularly in conflict settings and in protracted displacement situations; particularly the socio-economic reintegration of returnees or other groups; and, Experience working in conflict and post conflict settings.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, Development Studies, Human Rights, International Relations, Law or a related field from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience; or, University degree in the above fields with seven years of relevant professional experience.
