The Women, Peace and Security Associate will provide programmatic and administrative support to expand efforts to promote women’s leadership in peacebuilding in Sudan.
3 years of relevant professional experience in women’s empowerment, peacebuilding, governance, mediation, leadership training, programme coordination, or related fields. Experience working with civil society organizations, women-led organizations, youth initiatives, or UN/international development programmes is desirable. Required experience includes supporting programme implementation and coordination, organizing trainings, workshops, consultations, or community engagement activities, strong drafting and reporting skills, good communication and stakeholder engagement skills, ability to work effectively in multicultural and challenging environments, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Bachelor's degree in political science, international relations, gender studies, peace and conflict studies, social sciences, law, development studies, or other related fields.
