Overview
Provide administrative and technical support in relation to the operation of the Rapid Alert System for dangerous non-food products, document management, internal communication, and meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and technical support for the operation of the Rapid Alert System for dangerous non-food products (Safety Gate) under the General Product Safety Regulation.
- Support document management, internal communication, and meetings.
- Monitor deadlines for policy files and administrative actions.
- Participate in the work of the Safety Gate team, including the validation process of notifications and reactions submitted by Member States via the Safety Gate IT system.
- Contribute to the processing and follow-up of notifications submitted by Member States.
- Provide administrative and logistic support for the organisation of Working Groups meetings and other internal and external events.
- Contribute to administrative support to the unit and the Head of Unit, including management of functional mailboxes and handling documents and mails.
- Provide backup support to the unit assistant during absences or periods of high workload.
- Work on processes related to inter-service consultations, petitions, parliamentary questions, adoptions procedures, and logistics.
Required Experience
Appropriate professional experience of at least three years if holding a secondary education diploma giving access to post-secondary education.
Qualifications
- A level of post-secondary education attested by a diploma OR
- A level of secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education, and appropriate professional experience of at least three years.
- Passed an EPSO CAST in the relevant Function Group for this position.
