Overview
The role is responsible for supervising and planning the activities of the internal team, organizing weekly and monthly schedules, and contributing to the development of technical specifications and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and plan the activities of the internal team (rounds, troubleshooting, interventions).
- Organize and adjust weekly and monthly operational standby schedules.
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to plan, track, and document interventions, ensuring data reliability and updates.
- Contribute to the development of technical specifications and reports.
- Oversee contractual and budgetary follow-up: SLA, KPI, deadlines, invoices, and payments.
- Control the performance of external service providers and ensure reporting.
- Manage administrative tasks: access authorizations, archiving, correspondence, reports.
- Pilot the sub-unit's logistics: inventory management, orders, delivery tracking, and dispute resolution.
- Facilitate communication with suppliers, service providers, and internal departments.
- Replace the sub-unit chief in their absence and perform any other tasks within their area of expertise upon request.
- Implement periodic maintenance programs, in collaboration with external service providers if necessary.
- Supervise and plan maintenance interventions, repairs, renovations, and commissioning of new installations.
- Pilot technical improvements or transformations related to wear, new needs, or technological evolutions.
- Control the conformity of preventive and curative maintenance services provided by contractors.
- Ensure the archiving and updating of technical documentation (plans, technical sheets, descriptions).
- Coordinate intervention follow-up with other sub-units, internal departments (energy, IT, etc.), and clients.
- Manage the planning of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting via CMMS, including the closure of internal and external work orders.
- Consolidate and archive records and inspections (HVAC, sanitary, refrigeration, energy/water/gas/fuel meters).
- Analyze and report collected data in shared files.
- Participate in the creation and updating of operating, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with mechanics to resolve technical problems.
Required Experience
Minimum 7 years of experience in heating, plumbing, mechanics, and ventilation/air conditioning are mandatory. The minimum number of years of experience is reduced to 5 for candidates holding a first university degree or higher. Experience in maintenance contract management, resource planning and organization, and financial follow-up is required. Experience at various levels of responsibility in the maintenance of thermal installations, air conditioning, refrigeration, and sanitary installations of a complex site, such as a large administrative building, a conference center, or an institutional complex, is desirable.
Qualifications
Completed secondary education or equivalent. Training in refrigeration engineering is desirable.
