Provide programmatic and substantive support for the implementation and follow-up of work on science, technology, and innovation within the ECLAC Production, Productivity and Management Division.
A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in economic research and analysis, policy formulation, application of economic principles in development programmes or related areas is desirable. Prior experience working in Latin American and Caribbean countries is desirable. Ability to apply economic theories and concepts in different sectors of economic and sustainable development, particularly in the fields of science, technology and innovation, technology extension services, entrepreneurship, and productive development (industrial) policies is desirable.
University degree in economics, engineering, public policy or related disciplines is required. An advanced university degree (Master's or Doctorate degree or equivalent) is desirable.
