Overview
The Partnership and Outreach Associate on Waste and Marine Debris Management will support stakeholder engagement, multi-sector coordination, and outreach initiatives to strengthen collaboration in marine debris reduction efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective support for stakeholder engagement and multi-sector coordination.
- Support stakeholder mapping, partnership development, and identification of potential funding sources.
- Support design and implementation of Public Awareness and Campaign Initiatives.
- Support development outreach materials and support policy dissemination.
- Support strategic partnerships and resource mobilization, and knowledge management.
Required Experience
Minimum 6 years (with secondary education) or 3 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience in the field of stakeholder engagement, outreach, communication, public campaigns, partnership coordination or other relevant areas.
Qualifications
- Secondary education is required.
- A university degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Biology, Marine Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources Management, Waste Management, Environmental Policy, Environmental Management, Communication, International Relations, Public Policy, or other closely related fields will be given due consideration, but it is not a requirement.
- Candidates with educational background in environmental-related disciplines are highly preferred.
