Overview

The role involves designing, developing, and evaluating online, blended, and face-to-face training courses, with a focus on creating accessible learning pathways and managing hybrid training.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review onboarding materials.
  • Translate ad-hoc course materials into 3 languages using DeepL and oversee their review.
  • Conduct platform testing and ensure quality control.
  • Support the adaptation of course materials for language and accessibility standards.
  • Join and record live sessions, uploading recordings in 3 languages.
  • Create documents for accessibility including live session transcripts and closed captions.
  • Create a workplan for Cohort 3 with proposed deadlines and suggestions for improvements.
  • Update or create ad-hoc course materials based on pedagogical/accessibility concerns.
  • Translate ad-hoc course materials into course languages using DeepL and oversee language review.
  • Update course information on the platform.
  • Create forum threads or liaise with the course team to post threads.
  • Update the User Tour and Level Up! Tools for the new course space.
  • Consolidate student-generated content and implement insights.
  • Gather and organize information and data from micromodules.
  • Regularly meet with the course team to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Assist in the smooth coordination of all members involved in course implementation.
  • Maintain the shared work plan and task list.
  • Liaise with Module Coordinators with reminders of upcoming tasks.
  • Liaise with the communications officer and video editor to finalize videos.
  • Translate and coordinate translation and quality control of course documents.
  • Liaise with I.T. colleagues to solve technical issues with the platform.
  • Oversee the organization of all course live sessions.
  • Coordinate tests for live sessions with Interpreters and course instructors.
  • Create and share a list of responsibilities for live session recording, screen sharing, question-taking, and simultaneous text translation.
  • Create multilingual materials/instructions on the effective use of Zoom.
  • Update course files on pdkbox and sharepoint.
  • Update the Blueprint and recalculate course hours.
  • Update and share webinar sessions’ outlines and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Create activities like polls, word clouds and Mentimeter slides.
  • Deliver “housekeeping” notes at the beginning of live sessions.
  • Deliver a short introduction of the online learning platform and help facilitate a help session.
  • Co-organize 1 global coordinators meeting and 3 Group Coordinator meetings.
  • Co-organize 9 office hour sessions and provide information to participants.
  • Provide technical assistance to participants and team members during live sessions.
  • Record sessions as needed.
  • Ensure recordings are stored, edited, captioned, and uploaded.
  • Produce transcripts for formal live sessions in 3 languages using Sonix AI.
  • Provide technical support to participants, guests, and team members.
  • Liaise with IIEP I.T. team for technical issues.
  • Develop additional materials/instructions on the use of tools and LMS features.
  • Assist with the final registration of all participants.
  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate LMS data.
  • Monitor effective online learning and identify adjustments.
  • Draft a summary report of key findings and recommendations.
  • Ensure project goals are being met, evaluated, and reported.
  • Contribute to and ensure the consolidation and finalization of a policy on accessibility.
  • Manage or co-manage 2026 events on the Zoom platform.
  • Coach the Project Assistant on managing Zoom meetings.
  • Co-manage with the Project Assistant 2027 events.
  • Deliver a list of events managed or co-managed on the Zoom platform.
Required Experience

Proven experience (over four years) in designing, developing, deploying and evaluating online, blended and face-to-face training courses. At least 2 years experience in using, configuring and administering the MOODLE learning platform. At least 3 years experience in ensuring the development and implementation of educational projects and awareness-raising initiatives, from their design to their evaluation.

Qualifications

A Master's degree in Instructional Design, or Learning Design and Technology, or Educational Technology or similar.
