Overview
Engage a Solar Energy Consultant to lead technical assessments, evaluate energy load profiles, identify technical specifications for solar equipment, map potential service providers, and assist in managing solar equipment installation for JPST stations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop localized tools and conduct technical evaluations for solar equipment repair/installation.
- Conduct on-site data collection of energy data and prepare energy load profiles.
- Prepare solar equipment specifications and budgetary requirements.
- Identify and map potential vendors/service providers.
- Ensure successful repair/installation of solar equipment systems.
- Design and lead capacity building sessions on operations and maintenance of solar equipment.
Required Experience
- At least three years of professional experience in the field of energy development, renewable energy, electrical engineering, or related area.
- Understanding and experience working in the sphere of peacebuilding and peace security is a strong advantage.
- Experience/familiarity with policies and practices of intergovernmental organizations or international NGOs is preferred.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or at least University degree in the field of energy development, renewable energy, electrical engineering, or related area.
