Overview

The Human Resources Intern will provide general administrative support to the Human Resources Unit in carrying out HR-related tasks, including local recruitment, administrative duties, and personnel file management.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical assistance for Human Resources processes and activities.
  • Assist in recruitment processes, including circulating vacancy announcements, interview arrangements, and candidate communication.
  • Maintain orderly personnel files (electronic and hard copies).
  • Assist in e-filing of personnel files in WAVE HCM.
  • Support the organization of meetings, training, and HR events through logistical activities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience

Less than two years of relevant working experience.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in the final academic year of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; OR recent graduate (within one year of graduation) in any of the above disciplines.

Strong academic standing and demonstrated interest in Human Resources, talent acquisition, organizational development, learning and development, or employee relations are desirable.

Remuneration
Depending on experience and location, interns are granted a small monthly stipend to help offset costs. Interns benefiting from an internship allowance or scholarship granted by their university or other sponsoring body that includes financial remuneration or credits for coursework will not be eligible for the stipend. IOM covers Interns against occupational accidents and illnesses under the Compensation Plan (CP), free of charge, for the duration of the internship.
