The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Analyst will work with the project team to enhance project effectiveness and results, with a focus on measuring gender-related outcomes and ensuring data quality.
Experience in information analysis and report writing. Demonstrated experience and good knowledge of Monitoring & Evaluation system design. Demonstrated experience in data processing skills. Experience in use of computer to present data using graphics, creativity. Experience with gender-responsive budgeting (GRB), feminist evaluation approaches, or gender audits in a development or governance context. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills/experience. Work experience in a team and in an international environment. Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate and engage with project stakeholders. Experience working with international organizations, developing country governments, donor agencies and/or NGOs and other civil society groups involved in various sectors of international development. Knowledge of gender equality principles, women’s rights frameworks, and UNDP’s Gender Equality Strategy. Two (2) years of experience in designing and implementing results measurement systems in the development context at the national or international level, including experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. At least two (2) years of experience in extracting relevant findings from data to inform strategic decision-making in the public or private sector. Demonstrated experience applying gender-responsive M&E methodologies, including sex-disaggregated data collection and analysis, gender equality marker application, and gender-sensitive indicator design. Experience in monitoring projects with a market systems development approach. Experience in innovation and technology for inclusive finance. Experience in providing training on results measurement systems.
Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Evaluation, Economics, Public/Business Administration, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Statistics, Technology or related field is required, OR A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the above fields in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.
