Overview
Supports the design and delivery of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) learning programmes in Interior Design. Facilitates learning, designs assessments, and builds linkages with employers.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports the design and development of learning programmes and curricula.
- Facilitates the delivery of school-based and work-based learning programmes.
- Designs student assessments, both formative and summative.
- Builds linkages with employers, workers, and TVET instructors.
- Applies quality assurance tools and processes.
- Supports TVET greening and digitalisation initiatives.
- Collaborates with other instructors and staff members.
Required Experience
- For Grade 11: No experience required.
- For Grade 12: Two years of progressively responsible relevant professional satisfactory teaching experience.
- For Grade 13: Four years of progressively responsible relevant professional satisfactory teaching experience OR two years of progressively responsible relevant professional satisfactory teaching experience.
Qualifications
A university degree of four years from an accredited educational institution in Fine Arts – Interior Architecture. with major specialization in the field of subject taught. For Grade 12 and 13, an advanced university degree from an accredited educational institution in a subject relevant to his/her field of specialization or in education or psychology may also be considered. Equivalency may apply.
