Overview

The Staff Assistant (TOPFAS Management) role is responsible for managing the Tool for Operational Planning Functional Area System (TOPFAS), updating system products, and providing administrative and real-life support to the Plans Branch.


Key Responsibilities
  • - Maintains and updates the Plans Branch related TOPFAS data.
  • - Provides advice on TOPFAS issues to the whole JLSGNP HQ.
  • - Provides limited training on TOPFAS when required.
  • - Manages routine information within the Plans Branch.
  • - Manages internal Plans Branch staffing of incoming/outgoing correspondence, management of Branch taskers and Branch calendar.
  • - Ensures actuality, integrity and completeness of information stored, published and distributed on behalf of the Plans Branch.
  • - Assists and support Branch Head and Section Heads to coordinate with other staff branches/sections.
  • - Supports in the organization of meetings, VTCs, conferences etc. of the Branch, including reception of visitors.
  • - Ensures administrative part of internal organization of the Branch and contribute to Real Life Support in preparation of and during exercises and operations.
Required Experience

Higher secondary education and competence higher vocational training in logistics, transport or related discipline leading to a formal technical or professional certification with 3 years function related experience, or secondary education and competence advanced vocational training in that discipline leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 5 years post related experience. Experience in activities that involve logistics management. Experience developing plans and policy guidance to implement logistics management programs. Advanced knowledge of TOPFAS is required, with a minimum experience of 6 months. Worked previously in a multinational or joint environment.

Qualifications
