Overview

The role supports Delegations in Asia-Pacific in improving budget support and PFM operations, contributing to the design, monitoring, and coordination of EU cooperation activities.


Key Responsibilities

Support Delegations in Asia-Pacific (including Central Asia) in improving the consistency, quality and effectiveness of their budget support and PFM operations. Contribute to the design, monitoring, quality support and coordination of EU cooperation activities in Asia- Pacific and Central Asia, with particular reference to budget support operations and related reform processes.

Required Experience

Appropriate professional experience of at least three years if secondary education is the highest qualification.

Qualifications

A level of post-secondary education attested by a diploma OR a level of secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education, and appropriate professional experience of at least three years.

• Have a thorough knowledge (minimum level C1) of one of the 24 official languages of the EU • AND have a satisfactory knowledge (minimum level B2) of a second official language of the EU, to the extent necessary for the performance of the duties.

Contract Duration
The duration of the first contract will be 1 year. Subject to the interest of the service, the contract may be renewed one or more times, up to a maximum duration of 6 years.

Remuneration
The pay of staff members consists of a basic salary supplemented with specific allowances, including, where applicable, expatriation and family allowances.
