Overview
This role focuses on leading and coordinating projects, building relationships with partners, ensuring technical quality assurance, and supporting program design, monitoring, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Model Christian leadership, nurture staff spirituality, and foster a positive working environment.
- Build staff capacity through coaching, mentoring, and personal development plans.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key partners, including government institutions.
- Represent the organization in technical working groups.
- Facilitate teamwork, coordination, and work planning among project staff.
- Ensure integration of DRR and WASH programming.
- Coordinate and network to secure technical resources.
- Develop TOR, manage technical training, and administer logistics and finance.
- Monitor project spending against budget and report variances.
- Ensure community and staff are informed of recent approaches and technologies.
- Identify training needs, prepare materials, and conduct training.
- Support the preparation and submission of quality project reports.
- Provide training and coaching on Transformational Development Principles.
- Support the completion of project design and DME processes.
- Ensure monitoring systems and tools are developed and used.
- Coordinate revisions of plans and budgets.
- Write and submit draft Project Semi-Annual and Annual Reports.
- Provide strategic leadership to the Programmed Quality Self-Review process.
- Engage with government and churches for sustainability and scaling up.
- Assist in humanitarian emergency disaster management.
Required Experience
A minimum of two years of appropriate professional experience (Child Health, DRR and Climate Change Adaptation). Demonstrated experience in project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing. Proven leadership ability and experience as a team.
Qualifications
University degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. Public Health, Development Studies, Philosophy & Social Science and Humanity).
