Overview
Support youth-led and community-driven climate action initiatives in urban and coastal communities through the EcoTayo project.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with communities, youth groups, and local partners to plan and deliver project activities.
- Facilitate community discussions, workshops, and capacity-building sessions.
- Gather community data and help track project results and progress.
- Prepare and monitor project requests, payments, and required documents.
- Document project activities, stories, and lessons learned.
Required Experience
At least 2 years of experience working with communities, youth, or development projects. Experience facilitating community activities, trainings, or group discussions. Good organization and documentation skills. Passion for climate action, community development, and working with young people. An advantage if you have training or experience in community organizing, project management, climate change adaptation or disaster resilience.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in social work, community development, behavioral sciences, DRRM, or a related field.
