Overview
Provides strategic and technical leadership for child sponsorship and sponsorship communications, managing operations, sponsor-child communication, systems, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery and quality of sponsorship communication products.
- Monitor sponsorship performance, caseloads, KPIs, and processes.
- Ensure meaningful, child-centred, and safe engagement with sponsored children, families, communities, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
- Strengthen integration between sponsorship and programme implementation.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Sponsorship team.
- Ensure strong risk management, safeguarding, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive innovation, digitalisation, and continuous improvement of sponsorship systems, tools, and processes.
- Lead the development of impact stories, evidence, and learning.
- Collaborate closely with Programme, Communications, Resource Mobilisation, M&E, Finance, and Operations teams.
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of work experience in child sponsorship sector. Minimum of 2 years of field work with children and communities.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree on Development Management, Social Science, Development Economics, or related field such as Management, International Relations, Public Administration or equivalent.
