Overview

Manage an Oxfam bookshop, motivating teams and creating a safe and energised work environment. The role is accountable for the business and aims to make as much money as possible to overcome poverty and suffering.


Key Responsibilities

Motivate teams, create a safe and energised work environment, achieve results through others, delegate, coach, listen, establish and maintain successful retail processes and merchandising, understand and interpret basic financial reports, adhere to Oxfam’s principles and values, promote diversity and gender rights, adhere to equity, diversity, gender, child safety and staff health and wellbeing principles.

Required Experience

Significant leadership qualities and experience. Experience in building, retaining and developing a team. Experience in managing time under conflicting priorities. Experience in demonstrating resilience to everyday pressures. Experience in commercial awareness and judgement. Experience in understanding and interpreting basic financial reports. Experience in IT literacy and numeracy skills.
