The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will ensure effective monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of the 'Dare to Care' regional programme, supporting and strengthening M&E processes and systems, developing M&E tools, building M&E capacity of partners, and fostering a data-driven culture.
At least 7 years of professional experience in Monitoring and Evaluation for international development programmes or projects and/or other related field is required; Experience working in Monitoring and Evaluation for gender equality and women’s empowerment programmes or projects, and analytic work experience in gender and masculinities is required; In-depth understanding of cultural nuances involved in gender norms and masculinities in the Arab region is required; Proven experience in working and cooperating with a myriad of stakeholders and partners, including government, private sector, civil society, international organizations and grassroots organizations are required; Previous experience working for the UN system is desirable.
Master’s degree or equivalent in Monitoring and Evaluation, International Development, Gender/Women’s Studies, International Relations, Social Sciences or a related fields is required; A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
