Overview

The Child Protection Officer (Case Management & CPIMS+) will strengthen child protection systems through case management and information management, integrating and implementing the Child Protection Information Management System (CPIMS+). The role involves providing technical guidance, facilitating training, and coordinating implementation to enhance child-centered case management services.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the integration and implementation of the Child Protection Information Management System (CPIMS+).
  • Ensure ethical and quality data management.
  • Enhance the capacity of partners and frontline workers to deliver timely, child-centered case management services.
  • Provide technical guidance, facilitate training, and coordinate implementation across partners.
  • Deliver actionable insights through data analysis and visualization to inform programming and policy decisions.
  • Provide professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for child protection programmes/projects.
  • Support the development and formulation of the Child Protection Programme within the Country Programme.
Required Experience

At least 1 year of relevant work experience in Child Protection, Social Work, Humanitarian Programme Management is required.

Qualifications

A Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Social Work, Information Management, Social Science, Child Protection and any other related fields is required.

Fluency in English is required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an asset. Working knowledge of Chittagonian, Rohingya, or Burmese is an asset.
