Overview

The Driver provides reliable and safe driving services while ensuring compliance with local traffic rules and UNICEF protocols. The role also involves supporting administrative tasks and engaging in self-directed learning during non-driving periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable driving services.
• Perform routine vehicle care, maintenance, and readiness checks.
• Utilize digital tools and tracking systems.
• Document trips and prepare reports.
• Ensure communication and emergency readiness.
• Support office operations during idle periods.

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of work experience as a driver in an international organization, embassy or UN system with a safe driving record is required. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts is desirable.

Qualifications

A secondary education is required, along with a valid driver's license and knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
