Overview

The Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Associate will be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation requirements of a project supporting Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection in Ireland, and will also contribute to the Monitoring and Evaluation requirements of the Mission.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the National Project Officer with the development and implementation of monitoring frameworks for projects supporting BOTP’s in Ireland.
  • Ensure project SOP’s and project development comply with IOM’s institutional guidelines.
  • Analyze donor reporting requirements and ensure accurate information collection.
  • Compile, summarize, and present information for internal and external reports.
  • Draft status reports to support project implementation.
  • Support administrative requirements and coordinate with regional teams.
  • Support the wider Mission with M&E requirements and input into project development.
  • Maintain confidentiality of project-related matters and take steps to mitigate fraud and malfeasance.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, Development, Law and/or International Relations or similar with four years of relevant professional experience; or High School Degree in the above fields with six years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven experience in a similar setting & capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy & confidentiality.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to follow procedures clearly and to work well with colleagues within a team in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good knowledge of information technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Publisher.
  • Previous work experience in an international organization, non-governmental organisation would be an advantage.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, Development, Law and/or International Relations or similar; or High School Degree in the above fields.
