Overview
Interns will assist in the implementation of the Organization’s communication strategy and coordination of communications across multiple platforms. The role supports visibility for the Organization’s activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in social media campaigns, drafting and editing content, graphic design, filming, newsletters, editorial scheduling, and analytics
- Assist in website creation, content translation and editing, technical documentation, content uploading, SEO reports, and web ecosystem maintenance
- Assist in press release translation, press briefing preparation, media list updates, and on-site event support
- Participate in photo shooting and post-production, and image organization
- Provide editorial and technical assistance on publication projects, photo research, brand promotion, and IPR issues
- Assist in organizing conferences-debates, researching schools, and developing communication strategies for UNESCO Campuses
- Assist in selecting, editing, and publishing articles, pictures, and videos for UNESCO Courier magazine, and contribute to its promotion and distribution network
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in the 3rd year or final year of a Bachelor’s degree; OR currently enrolled in a second university degree, Master's or PhD degree or equivalent; OR finished a Bachelor’s, Master's or PhD degree within the last 12 months
- Applicants in technical/vocational assignments must be enrolled in a specialized technical/vocational institution and have reached the last year of studies, or have recently graduated (within the last 12 months)
