Overview
Interns will assist the Digital Bureau Solution in its mission by providing qualified and specialized assistance in various projects. Interns will be exposed to the work of UNESCO and gain hands-on experience in IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance and diagnose connectivity issues
- Configure network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Set up and configure cloud resources on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Troubleshoot network problems such as slow connections or outages
- Update and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and inventories
- Provide basic user support, including password resets and account creation
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and testing of AI and GAI models
- Create content for cybersecurity awareness workshops
- Coordinate simulated phishing campaigns
- Review cybersecurity policies
- Analyze vulnerability scanning reports
- Assist in designing and coding web-based or cloud-based business applications
- Improve the user interface and user experience (UI/UX) of existing applications
- Prepare and support developing reports using Microsoft or Salesforce Technologies
- Assist in data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation
- Create interactive data dashboards using tools like Power BI
- Conduct testing, assist in debugging, and quality assurance activities
- Document application features, code, and development processes
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in the 3rd year or final year of a Bachelor’s degree
- Currently enrolled in a second university degree, Master's or PhD degree or equivalent
- Finished a Bachelor’s, Master's or PhD degree within the last 12 months
- Applicants in technical/vocational assignments must be enrolled in a specialized technical/vocational institution and have reached the last year of their studies, or have recently graduated (within the last 12 months)
