Overview
The Intern will assist in the development and testing of IT solutions for the administration of project proposals and preparation of contracts and agreements, as well as preparing and analyzing financial and other reports and queries, and producing communication material for outreach purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in design, testing and documenting procedures of the new IT system for management of CRA project proposals and contracts.
- Assist in design of additional IT tools such as Sharepoint platforms, PowerBI Dashboards, and IT solutions for automation of document creation and operations.
- Assist in receipt, recording and filing project and contract agreement proposals as well as preparing agreement packages for Coordinated Research Activities (CRA) and Collaborating Centres (CC) mechanisms.
- Maintain database records.
- Perform data clean-up exercises.
- Prepare financial reports and ad-hoc management reports.
- Assist in maintenance of CRA and CC Web pages, gather other information required for general media and visibility use.
- Assist in daily operational tasks as assigned by the Section Head.
Required Experience
- Good knowledge of IT systems and business process improvement.
- Good knowledge of project management.
- Basic knowledge of media products of other visibility-related products.
- Experience in the use of data analysis tools such as SQL.
- Knowledge of Sharepoint and PowerBI.
- Fluency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Good knowledge of Software development.
- Good knowledge of Data and Information Analysis and Reporting.
- Ability to work in a team and with tact.
Qualifications
University studies in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
