Overview
The Project Administrative Associate will provide project management and administration support to electoral projects under the UNDP Pacific Office in Fiji. The role aims to strengthen electoral processes and enhance transparency and civic awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation of annual work plans, budgets and procurement plans.
- Support project recruitments and personnel management.
- Maintain contracts database and payment dashboard.
- Support procurement and operational functions.
- Prepare and submit proposals, project progress reports, and assist in compiling financial reports.
- Provide support for project events, meetings, trainings, workshops, and travel arrangements.
- Undertake administrative, travel, procurement, and asset management tasks.
- Maintain e-filing of supporting documents for payments.
- Liaise with implementing partners and UNDP units.
- Support knowledge building, knowledge sharing, and capacity building activities.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible administrative or project experience with secondary education.
- A minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible administrative or project experience with a bachelor’s degree.
Qualifications
- Secondary education is required.
- University Degree (bachelor´s degree) in Governance, Public Administration, Economics, Political or Social Sciences, or related fields will be given due consideration.
