Overview
The Partnership and Outreach Associate will provide effective support for stakeholder engagement and multi-sector coordination, focusing on marine plastic reduction and waste management. The role also supports the design and implementation of public awareness and campaign initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Effective coordination for stakeholder mapping and engagement planning.
- Provision of support for national and cross-sector coordination among ministries and agencies.
- Support multi-stakeholder policy dialogues and coordination forums.
- Maintain documentation of partnership engagements.
- Provision of related multi stakeholder outreach strategies.
- Coordination with relevant government institutions and partners.
- Effective contribution to the achievement of project indicators.
- Development of outreach materials.
- Timely dissemination of policy outputs.
- Translation of technical and policy information.
- Effective support in organizing national forums and events.
- Updated database of strategic partners.
- Effective support for the preparation of partnership briefs.
- Effective support for coordination meetings with strategic partners.
- Accurate and updated documentation of partnership contributions.
- Support compiling and systematizing project knowledge.
Required Experience
- Minimum 6 years (with secondary education) or 3 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience in the field of stakeholder engagement, outreach, communication, public campaigns, partnership coordination or other relevant areas.
- Experience in the use of computers, office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.), database packages, and web-based management systems such as ERP.
Qualifications
- Secondary education is required.
- A university degree in Communication, International Relations, Public Policy, Environmental Science, or other closely related field will be given due consideration, but it is not a requirement.
