Overview
The Specialist assists in the support of an integrated project, focusing on planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluation, donor reporting, and resource mobilization to strengthen political will and enhance the organization's credibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the oversight of work plan targets and financial components of the project.
- Conduct regular meetings with programme teams to review targets and financial use.
- Ensure synergy and inter-sectorality within UNICEF programme areas.
- Consolidate, review, edit, and finalize regular donor reporting and resource mobilization documents.
- Ensure timely execution of reporting and resource mobilization products.
- Update donor-related fundraising and information products.
- Proofread and edit other documents upon request.
- Ensure regular monitoring and evaluation activities are undertaken.
- Prepare and share results and reports on a timely basis.
- Provide technical support in organizing country programme reviews.
- Monitor follow-up actions based on management decisions.
- Support programme components to monitor and report on intersectoral programme results.
- Provide technical and operational support throughout the evaluation process.
- Support the development and sharing of visibility materials.
- Liaise on project implementation with WFP counterparts.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by senior management.
Required Experience
- A minimum of five years’ practical professional work experience in donor reporting and/or communication.
- Experience working in a developing country is considered as an asset.
- Direct or indirect KOICA experience is an important advantage.
- Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
Qualifications
A university degree is required in one of the following fields: international relations, political science, communications, international development, or another relevant technical field, and/or any other relevant discipline is required.
