Overview

Seeking a motivated specialist to join the team as Staff Assistant (Central Processing) at NISRF (Sigonella Italy). The role will actively support the overall management, planning, coordination, and supervision of Community & Welfare Support services and activities for NISRF personnel and their dependents, with primary responsibilities focusing on in- and out-processing procedures and related administrative functions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Providing all aspects and services related to in-/out-processing
  • Printing out NATO ID cards
  • Managing privileges and ration cards databases and ensuring periodic communication
  • Assisting NISRF personnel with vehicle registration in the Allied Forces in Italy (AFI) System
  • Setting up appointments for NATO members with the Motor Vehicle Registration Office (MVRO)
  • Maintaining an accurate database of primary and secondary vehicles documents
  • Managing sale and supply of MWA items
  • Assisting in preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends in regards of in-/out processing
  • Assisting in the proper management and administration of all matters related to NATO Security Clearances, to Certificates of Conducts for new and serving civilian staff
  • Interacting with and influencing colleagues and holding working level contact with customers, suppliers and partners
  • Performs a range of work, sometimes complex and non-routine, in a variety of environments
Required Experience
  • Substantial professional experience in personnel services and administration.
  • Experience in personnel administration and personnel management.
  • Professional experience in office/general administration practices.
  • Experience in application of Personnel Regulations.
  • Previous assignment to a military/international organization or NATO (desirable).
Qualifications

Higher Secondary education and intermediate vocational training in human resources management, business administration, law, social sciences, or related field, public administration or related discipline which might lead to a formal qualification with 2 years’ experience, or Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training in that discipline leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 4 years post related experience.

A good command of English both written and spoken. Knowledge of the Host Nation language (Italian).

Contract Duration
Initially a definite duration contract of three years.

Remuneration
4,150.63 Euro (EUR) Monthly. Salary is tax free including (where eligible) expatriation, family and children's allowances and additional privileges for expatriate staff.
