Overview
The Integrated Service Delivery Officer will lead or support strategy and policy development to improve national health governance policies, strategies, and approaches. The role aims to promote universal health coverage through strengthening primary health care and offering integrated, people-centered services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support strategy and policy development for health governance.
- Support the development of standards for health systems based on primary health care.
- Contribute to the identification and fight against health inequalities.
- Contribute to the development, planning, and continuous training of health professionals.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of technical activities related to integrated health services.
- Support the development and strengthening of health information systems.
- Work towards strengthening the national pharmaceutical policy.
- Contribute to the strengthening of strategies for health care provision.
- Disseminate knowledge, information, and results, promote research and innovations.
- Advise and collaborate on the development and implementation of effective strategic and technical coordination and cooperation strategies.
- Participate fully in the development and implementation of resource mobilization and advocacy strategies.
- Work in total collaboration with other members of the office.
- Disseminate up-to-date knowledge and findings.
- Cooperate with all authorities, international cooperation agencies, inter-governmental and non-governmental organizations, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Perform any other incident-specific related duties, as required.
Required Experience
- At least two (2) years of progressive national or international experience at a senior, scientific or technical level in major programs or activities related to health systems development, integrated health services delivery, health policy and planning.
- Prior working experience with WHO, other UN agency, or International Organizations.
- Experience in the domain of analyses and evaluation of the health sector, consensus building, and production of reports.
Qualifications
- First university degree in Public Health, health systems/services administration, health management or health-related field from an accredited/recognized institute.
- Post-graduate in Public Health, health systems/services administration, health management, or health-related field.
