Overview
This consultancy aims to strengthen the provincial Migrant Health Volunteer (MHV) engagement system by reviewing and formalizing a standardized, competency-based training curriculum and an accompanying performance management framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Review existing MHV training materials, delivery modalities, and supervision practices.
- Identify gaps and inconsistencies in content, competencies, and performance monitoring.
- Compare existing curricula with other global and national approaches.
- Develop a standardized, competency-based MHV training curriculum.
- Develop an accompanying performance management framework.
- Lead discussions on MHV financial sustainability and potential establishment of a registration system.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for community-based health surveillance.
Required Experience
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in migration health programming, community health, health systems strengthening, health governance, or public health policy analysis.
- Demonstrated experience working on Migrant Health Volunteers capacity building.
- Proven experience working with government health authorities, UN agencies, and INGOs.
- Experience working in border health or migrant health contexts.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Systems Management, Social Sciences, Migration Studies, Public Policy, or a related field.
- A PhD in a relevant field is a strong advantage.
