Overview
Provides technical oversight and support to all construction projects, managing and monitoring their progress to ensure quality, compliance, and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides technical oversight and support to all construction projects.
- Manages and monitors progress of all construction projects.
- Ensures contractors implement projects in compliance with contract documents.
- Prepares Project(s) risk management plans.
- Ensures contractor meets contractual requirements of safety, environment, and health.
- Ensures completeness of all project documentation.
- Prepares progress and ad-hoc reports.
- Holds site meetings with contractors.
- Reviews and endorses measurements for payments.
- Assesses variation orders and extension of time.
- Participates in the evaluation and structural assessment of existing buildings.
- Supervises the performance of construction division staff.
- Facilitates visits by donor representatives and external interlocutors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- At least Six years working experience in construction works.
- Of which four years should have been on site-supervision and technical administration.
- Experience with computer applications in construction and project management.
Qualifications
A university degree in civil engineering from an accredited university/ institution
