Overview

The Logistics and Equipment Management Technician provides first-level support for client queries and routine service requests, maintaining records for service request management, inventory control, and equipment performance tracking. The role may involve processing purchasing requests, supporting shipments, warehousing, and preparing equipment and supplies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Front Desk for equipment and supplies distribution.
  • Monitor and categorize service-related requests, including inspection equipment and OHS incidents.
  • Perform asset registration, life cycle management, impairment, and write-off.
  • Administer Low Value Purchasing and process travel arrangements, office space, and equipment clearances.
  • Perform logistical duties including warehouse activities, procurement, receiving, quality checks, storage, distribution, and inventory control.
  • Provide training and support to other SGTS teams.
  • Execute routine shipments, manage shipment files, and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Test, record, and prepare passive seals and removable media.
  • Receive, verify, and report passive seals; retrieve and upload data from removable media.
  • May involve manual handling of bulky items.
Required Experience

Minimum of five years of relevant work experience, preferably in an international environment, including experience in providing customer services. Understanding of asset management approaches including asset identification, physical counting and reconciliation. Proven experience in database management, data retrieval applications and document management.

Qualifications

Completed secondary education.

Languages Preferred
Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.

Remuneration
Attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at EUR 59439 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), 6 weeks' annual vacation, pension plan and health insurance.
